It is that time of year again……………..Hose testing.

Every piece of hose the department owns is inspected for NFPA compliance. It is taken off every truck, laid out on the ground inspected for hole or abrasion, filled with water, brought up to test pressure and then drained, repacked on each truck – ready to be deployed at the next fire scene.
It takes for night and a Saturday morning to accomplish this annual task – but our family of firefighters, although it is hard work repacking the 5″ hose, throw some fun and laughter into the mixed.

Last night was the spare hose – here are a few pictures – tonight E4 and the first of the never ending 5″ hose.
