The Woodbury Volunteer Fire Dept wound up the town’s summer camp program by showering 50 kids with 2500 gallons of water from the turret on Engine 8 under hot, sunny skies with temps in the 90s at Hollow Park on Friday morning July 28th, 2023. Assisting Deputy Fire Chief Dave Lampart were fellow Woodbury Firefighters Mel Brenner, Earl Gillette, and Fire Lt. Matt Gereg. Also present were Jami Gore, town director of parks & recreation, and First Selectman Barbara Perkinson.
