The Woodbury Volunteer Fire dept responded to a ‘downed wires’ call on Thursday Feb 9th 2023 and protected a driver trapped in the cab of his tractor trailer after he had sheared the live cables overhead and tangled them around his vehicle (photo). The driver was told to stay put while Eversource was summoned to cut power to the area on White Deer Rocks Road at midday. No injuries were reported, and the driver was cleared to depart after half an hour.
