WOODBURY 26May 2024 – Woodbury Volunteer Firefighters geared up in dress uniforms and paraded on foot and onboard seven fire trucks in the town’s Memorial Day solemn celebration honoring the nation’s war dead. Deputy Fire Chief Dave Lampart led the department participation in the annual event Sunday May 26^th  under fine, sunny skies.  Sadly, two of the department’s veteran trucks were too infirm to participate.  The department’s 1927 Seagrave firetruck is visually restored but requires mechanical adjustments as does its small, younger cousin the 1947 Jeep fire vehicle.  “Wait ‘til next year,” said Deputy Chief Lampart. “Members and trucks will all be present and accounted for.”
