Today, we are thrilled to spotlight Firefighter Nick Abouzeid!

Nick moved here from California and joined our department in 2021. He took to the fire service like a duck to water! He completed his Firefighter I & II certifications and dedicates hours every single month to department training.

Off duty, Nick runs his own local business. He and his lovely wife, Kate, married in the summer of 2025 and welcomed a sweet baby girl a few months ago! Even with a business and a new baby, Nick is one of our top responders. He answers over 100 calls every year.

He is truly one of your dedicated neighbors on our team of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
