WOODBURY – Woodbury Volunteer Firefighters quickly extinguished a housefire at 168 Railtree Hill Road on Saturday afternoon April 6th. Nearly a dozen firefighters responded with four fire trucks along with the Woodbury Ambulance Association in a standby presence. There were no injuries reported and officials said the fire appeared confined to a siding area. Pictured is Fire Capt Steve Cunningham inspecting the damage afterwards. Fire Lt Mark Mastrangelo was the officer in charge. When not responding to fires, Cunningham is an IT security consultant and Mastrangelo, locally a well-known chef, is a longhaul truck driver. The cause is under investigation, officials said.
