Engine 7 (also called simply the Brush Truck) The brush truck is a Ford 350 diesel-powered pickup truck with a slide in water tank that is used to fight brush fires, grass fires and fires in terrain inaccessible to heavier apparatus. The brush truck is also used in dealing with downed power lines, water emergencies, and to pull the department’s Haz-Mat (hazardous materials) response trailer.
